MV Scuba Cat is an ideal scuba diving platform. The design in stability is only found in a very large catamaran liveaboard boat. She operates amongst the protected waters of the Similan Islands making this the most "friendly" boat to be found...seasickness is rare. From only 12,000 Baht per person.
Recompression Chambers
Scuba Cat Diving is proud to be partners with not one but two local recompression chambers.
Thailand is considered to be amongst the top 10 scuba diving destinations in the world. It boasts spectacular crystal clear waters, spectacular reefs and rock formations plus a colourful selection of marine life. Each year an estimated 250,000 divers and snorkellers set out to explore the dive sites of the Andaman Sea.
Badalveda
Badalveda was formed in 2002 by a group of physicians and nurses specialized in diving medicine. They provide a comprehensive health service for divers administered through our network of Diving Medicine Centers located at major diving spots in Thailand.
SSS Network
Their main objective is to provide their affiliates with a standardized NETWORK that is recognized world wide for its professionalism in achieving the highest quality in safety health care for patients suffering decompression illness.
Compared with most "dive centers" in Thailand (a lot of them is just a website - a "Virtual Dive Company") - Scuba Cat owns their own fleet of diving boats and have been in operation since 1994. If you do a Course or a Dive Career Package with us, all your dives will be from one of our own dive boats, not "we got to do a beach dive, 'cause it is not enough students" or from a "last minute rented long tail boat, 'cause all the other boats are full".
