What a beatiful trip this was! Sunny skies, absolutely flat seas, crystal clear waters and unreal sunsets. Liveaboard diving at its best!!We took off the 4/11, and had a very smooth crossing up to the Similan Islands. In the morning we were greeted by 40 meters visibility at Morning Edge. Plenty of Hawksbills Turtles at the northern sites of Similans, schooling Barracudas and a Napoleon Wrasse. Next morning we steamed north to Koh Bon, the first of the islands in the Surin Islands Marine Park. Very good Leopard Shark action, and loads of schooling pelagics. Our 4 day/night and 5 day/night trips depart from Patong Beach in Phuket. Departure is in the evening with a short overnight cruise.
When you awake the following morning you will be greeted by the beauty of the Similan Islands. After a light breakfast you will be ready to make your first dive into this beautiful underwater world! When you return to the boat, a full breakfast will be waiting for you. Over the following days you will steadily make your way to the small islands of Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and the famous Richelieu Rock, enjoying dive after spectacular dive along the way. The Southern Islands, Phuket, Thailand

We run liveaboard trips to the Hin Daeng and Phi Phi islands areas and Racha Yai and Racha Noi over the summer time. Two seperate schedule are in place, 4 days 4 nights and 3 days 3 nights. Why not combine the two trips to take in the best of the Southern Islands without the need for hotels!

Are you a Nitrox diver?

Scuba Cat Diving, Phuket Thailand has an Enriched Air Nitrox blending system onboard. Enriched Air Nitrox enables you to increase the amount of time you spend at depth underwater. If you are not yet certified as an Enriched Air Nitrox Diver, our Instructors are happy to train you.

Compared with most "dive centers" in Thailand (a lot of them is just a website - a "Virtual Dive Company") - Scuba Cat owns their own fleet of diving boats and have been in operation since 1994. If you do a Course or a Dive Career Package with us, all your dives will be from one of our own dive boats, not "we got to do a beach dive, 'cause it is not enough students" or from a "last minute rented long tail boat, 'cause all the other boats are full".
