Underwater Naturalist Speciality Course
If you're interested in marine life then the PADI Underwater Naturalist Speciality course at Scuba Cat Diving, Phuket Thailand is for you. This course is an introduction to the underwater aquatic environment and will help develop safe and responsible marine life interaction techniques.
What do you need to start?
- PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying scuba diving certification from another organization)
- Minimum age: 10 years old
What will you do?
During your PADI Underwater Naturalist Speciality course, you'll learn underwater naturalist dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and potential problems. You'll also get an overview of the major aquatic life groupings, interactions and factual information that dispels negative myths. You'll put this information into practice during your two open water dives.
What's included in the course?
At Scuba Cat Diving, Phuket, Thailand all our scuba diving certification courses include free equipment rental In addition we teach all of our diver level courses in small groups to ensure that you receive the attention that you deserve. All our courses are taught to PADI Standards.
How much will it cost?
The Price for Padi Underwater Naturalist Speciality Course is 7,500 Baht (1 Day / 2 Dives).
Including equipment rental, two boat dives, certification and instructor fees.
What can you do next?
The Underwater Naturalist Adventure Dive from the Adventures In Diving program may be count towards your Speciality certification at instructor discretion. You may also count this Speciality certification toward one of the five required Specialties for the Master Scuba Diver certification. Or why not join us for some day trip diving or even a liveaboard trip?
Compared with most "dive centers" in Thailand (a lot of them is just a website - a "Virtual Dive Company") - Scuba Cat owns their own fleet of diving boats and have been in operation since 1994. If you do a Course or a Dive Career Package with us, all your dives will be from one of our own dive boats, not "we got to do a beach dive, 'cause it is not enough students" or from a "last minute rented long tail boat, 'cause all the other boats are full".
