Just wanted to send you a little update (and a whole lot of thanks for all that you have done for me!) on what i've been up to here in my new career as a diving instructor in the Bahamas...
I've been working so so much, and have taught so many courses; dsd, openwater, advanced, a couple of nitrox and even 3 wreck specialities (which were really fun and amazing adventures- there are some reallly great wrecks to penetrate here, and after his cert, one of my students and i spent 3 days just diving and penetrating loads of them!) ... The christmas holidays were totally crazy here, and I was diving and teaching my heart out everyday...
Some of the other new instructors here are newly certified as well, and i just wanted to thank you so much for the wonderful job you Christophe Pace PADI Course Director) and of course Andy (PADI Master Instructor), Vince (PADI Master Instructor) and everyone else did for me.
It was quite a simple transition for me as far as the teaching and leading dives were concerned- some of the other new instructors hadn't even ever participated in a single course or had any hands on training during their courses and found it quite difficult (some of them had never even seen a DSD course run through, which we do alot of here)...
I am so glad that i was able to do my training at Scuba Cat Diving, Thailand and that you all run the program with so much importance given hands-on experience and work experience.
I hope to be back in Thailand soon (would love to do some tech training with Vince next low season) and am definitely going to stop in and say hello... please send my warmest new years wish to everyone at Scuba Cat Diving, Thailand for me!
